Oh Christmas Tree Oh Christmas Tree..

Here are some photos of our amazing Christmas Tree. We cut it down from an actual forest (sort of) in Roosevelt while we were at Ty's families for Thanksgiving. It was a blast! Now our home smells amazing and I've got the Christmas spirit! :-)

The Tree and I are about the same size!

Pretty Lights!

Isn't it beautiful?

The only thing more hansome than our Christmas Tree is Ty!

A very merry unbirthday to you!

Here are the pictures from our Halloween adventures!

Ty and I dressed up as Alice and the mad hatter from Alice in Wonderland!4

Here is Tyler dressed as Link from the Legend of Zelda. Nice costume

Alison and Layne were very cute taking their costumes back through the ages.

We don't know this kid but he was at Ty's work party and we thought his was the best costume of all!

Here we are again at the work party! Ty is wearing womens socks!! He thinks they rock.

Joel and Julie were the flinstones! They look awesome!

Aubrey and Tyler came over the weekend before and we carved pumpkins. Too bad they rotted before Halloween.

Here is a picture of mom and dad when they came to visit last weekend. We had fun hanging out and going to bear lake. This is a late birthday party with cake and crazy candles ty picked out. They are so cute!!

So the last couple of weeks have been quite the adventure in the Mitchell house. I thought I would share the ride. Ty and I went to Nampa a couple of weekends ago hoping that my brother Dana would get his mission call and we would be there to witness it. No such luck. We did get to see my sister, Deanne off to her junior homecoming though. It still wigs me out that she is dating. When I saw how beautiful she looked I had an impression to hide her under the bed.

Here she is with her date.

We finally got a call on Tuesday from my brother with his mission call. It was so amazing to listen to him read his call and get choked up. :-)
He was called to Anchorage, Alaska!! It's a large and cold mission which could also take him into Canada! We are all very excited.

I was talking to my mom today and she told me some funny stories about my baby sister Tacie that I thought I would share. First, her new favorite word is DISGUSTING! Also, she was at Tyler's football game and while the crowd was cheering in overtime she yelled at the top of her lungs, "Go Guys, Go!" Not bad for a one year old! :-)

Tradition

So heading out for ice cream with our friends and getting the shake of the month at charlies has become a tradition.  So I thought we could share it with you.  Enjoy!  Of course you won't enjoy it as much as we did, considering we are the ones with the ice cream.
Can I look any cooler?

Mel sure loves ice cream

Apartment of awesomeness!

So for those of you who haven't yet been to see our place here it is.
We have a table, it is happy :)

The living room... still waiting on a real TV stand ;)

We love books!

SUU Football! Blake Rocks.

Yep thats Mel wearing the Aggie blue.... wait a minute, she is wearing red and black.

Its forgivable this one time, but only because we were watching my bro. play football. Ok, to be honest I was wearing a thunder bird hat too.

It was really exciting to watch Blake play at the college level. He has an instinctive understanding of the game. Something I don't even come close to having. At more than one point during the game I had to ask Mel what was going on. Soccer, baseball, I get. Football is confusing. Just goes to show how smart and freaking tough my little brother is. Anyway, it was a lot of fun to hang with family watch the game and just have a good time.I'd be happy too if I helped deliver the first home field win in over a year

My younger bigger brother

Looks like he got hit one to many times

Here is the Fenn family cheering party

The First Blog

Ty and I are starting this blog due to popular demand. I really don't know how to blog. This will be an adventure to say the least. So far I haven't even been able to get a picture to post..haha. I'm excited to start this blog as well though. It will be a fun way to keep in touch and will be a fun cyber-scrapbook as our life continues and our family grows.
